The Digitalization and Data Protection Practice Group at BRP RENAUD assists with procedures, contracts and projects, ensures compliance and represents your interests before arbitration tribunals and in court proceedings.

Our attorneys-at-law have a great deal of experience with IT, data protection and e-commerce law, and they understand the technical background and economic and organizational circumstances. If necessary, the practice group will work closely with other BRP RENAUD attorneys-at-law that specialize, e.g. , in labor law or competition law.

Legal advice on software and IT projects: We advise providers on the development and market launch of new software and users on the migration to new systems. We draft license terms, software development contracts, project contracts and service-level agreements and represent your enterprise in the event of a dispute.

Data protection compliance: Our practice group reviews your compliance with all relevant data protection regulations. It draws up GDPR-compliant data processing agreements, records of processing activities (RoPAs), data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and transfer impact assessments (TIAs) as well as standard data protection clauses for the transfer of personal data to third countries.

Online trade and e-commerce: Our firm draws up general terms and conditions, terms of use and legal notices for online shops and platforms. It also ensures that the duties to inform as required by consumer and data protection law are met and that the legally compliant consent forms are signed.
